In 2000, 3rd Street Coffee opened its doors at the corner of 3rd Street and New Street in downtown Downey. What started as a simple idea — great coffee in a welcoming space — quickly became something more: a gathering place for the community.
Over the years, we've watched students study for exams that would shape their futures, friends reconnect over lattes, and families make Saturday morning coffee runs a tradition. We've been here for first dates, business meetings, and quiet moments of solitude with a good book and a warm cup.
Twenty-five years later, our mission hasn't changed. We still believe that a great cup of coffee, made with care and served with a smile, can make your whole day better.
